The Mcknight’s gate guarding Briggs Ranch Hwy 133 Catarina, Tx

View going to Rv out of Catarina Tx

Today started out just beautiful with a very dark cloud filled sky had we been in Georgia we would have had rain but not here. Complaining we are not the lord knows that we are please with any means that he sees fit to cool it down some around here.

Dead Snake onroad 1/4 mile from RV going to well pad

Our day on the gate was for the most part slow today we had the company men in and out and a couple of sales people. We also have the munching crew in clearing trails for the frac team to install the water pipes for the fracing of the well. We also had one piece of the frac equipment delivered.

Entry to pad

I managed to make a trip down to the well pad (2.1Miles) and have a look around, not much there yet just the quarters for the company men and the frac pipes they delivered last night. Still don’t know if they ever found the frac pond or not.

Saw a very large black snake that someone killed on the road about a 1/4 mjle from our coach. May they all stay

TheCompany mens living space,in a few days this area will be like a bee hive

that far away Snakes that is.

I also managed to get to the post office in Catarina and got set up for general Delivery.

They are on the way our new gate beepers

Now I can receive the new alarm beepers that I ordered for the gate. We got used to them on the other gates that we were on and this hose and bell system doesn’t seem to be loud enough for old men like me.

Look like we might have a quite night around here guess we better take advantage of it before the sand and water trucks start rolling.
