The Mcknight’s gate guarding Briggs Ranch Hwy 133 Catarina, Tx

This guy delivered us a Man lift and I thought his other load was cute also

OK the slow days are over for a while I guess, The day started off at 06:15 this morning with the Delivery of 3 New Oil well shut off valves,(I don’t know why 3 different functions I guess) Then came a Man lift and a fork lift. Of course I didn’t have the camera out that early in the morning to capture the early shoots. At o7:05 arrived the crane to off load the Well Valves and he stayed until 7:30 PM so I guess he made a good day.

1st of 13 frac tanks and 2 open top tanks

Yeah I took the picture through the windshield of our RV, thats what happens when you get caught with well anyway. If you click on the picture it will enlarge and you can see it.

Next we had part of the Frac crew show up towing a Tag along trailer. Guess they planning on staying with us for a while. They were followed by Frac tanks 13 of them and two open top tanks.

At 12:20 the Rig-up-Crew showed up followed by the Torque and test crew to install the new Well head valves that arrived earlier.

Its here Work.........The frac equipment

Then at 12:25 here they came the Frac Equipment all 23 loads loaads of it, and the different crews just kept coming , crews to hook up frac tanks, crews to installed water return pumps and finish frac lines, and at 10:22PM we recieved our 1st load of Frac Sand. And if it is like any of our other gates the night is just beginning as they will need enough sand by day shift arrival to get the well fracking started. I would guess in the

Yeah they had about a 18 truck back up on the raod as we signed them in

neighborhood of 8 to 16 truck loads of sand by sunup.

So as John (from The RVing Adventures of John and Terry) would say I will see y’all later.

Look at the size engin on that machine

So you guys are starting up a frac huh? We have yet to go through one of those, but I hear it’s VERY busy! Stay safe and cool! I’m going to hold you to that cup of coffee when we get back down that way this fall.

Yes we are getting this Frac thingie down the last gate we was at had two wells behind the gate and they ran the frac on both of them at the same time then we had 3 workover rigs of both wells at the same time so I think this gate will be a cake walk as we only have one well site here. And yes we will for sure be ready to have a cup of coffee with you guys.
